On December 15th, from 10:00am-11:30, join us to learn the basics of mushroom foraging in Colorado from Orion Aon of Forage Colorado! Over this 90-minute presentation, Orion will cover some basics of foraging and mushroom biology, and then we will dive into how to forage for wild mushrooms in Colorado. The class will cover mushroom identification, foraging safety, toxic species, where to go, how to transport and store wild mushrooms, and finally the specifics of a dozen beginner-friendly edible mushrooms.
